Make A Joyful Noise (MaJ'N) is a 15-member music ministry/fellowship group dedicated to sharing the message of our Lord Jesus Christ with the University of Chicago campus and surrounding areas through songs, skits, and testimonies.

MaJ'N is currently in its fifth year of existence. In looking back upon the past several years, we thank all of those who so faithfully supported the group and all of those who gave us the opportunity to share about a faith which is so very dear to us. Most of all, we thank God for all that He's done in blessing the group and nurturing it to this day. In looking to the future, we eagerly anticipate the unfolding of God's perfect will and whatever role He wants us to play in it.

Here's some info on the past years of MaJ'N:

MaJ'N - YEAR 1 (1993-1994)



This is MaJ'N during one of its weekly fellowship meetings during its first year. MaJ'N - YEAR 2 (1994-1995)



This is MaJ'N after the final concert of its second year at Bond Chapel on the University of Chicago campus. As time passed, there were members of the MaJ'N family who could not actively participate in MaJ'N due to other commitments. Thus a natural extension of the MaJ'N famil y formed called MoMaJ'N (Men of MaJ'N) which consisted of a mixture of active and non-active MaJ'N members. This group of guys sang casually on its own throughout the year and sang a small set as part of the MaJ'N final concert In the back from left to right are Glenn Chen and Mike Lee. MaJ'N - YEAR 3 (1995-1996)

MaJ'N - YEAR 4 (1996-1997)


Here is a picture of MaJ'N in its fourth exciting year. This fourth year group was very special because it was the first group without any of the original MaJ'N members in it. We praise the Lord for giving them the strength to flourish and make an impact on campus.

Despite starting off the year with 3 returning members, MaJ'N has been blessed immensely by the Lord with a fresh group of new faces. We thank God for giving us a young, dynamic group that is willing to serve Him through our gift of music. This year looks like an exciting one for MaJ'N!
